Rattazzi, Urbano, ital. Staatsmann, geb. 29. Juni 1810 zu Alessandria, seit 1848 Führer der Linken in der sardin. Kammer, 1848-49 mehrmals Minister, 1853-54 Justizminister, dann bis 1858 und 1859-60 Minister des Innern, 1862 und 1867 Ministerpräsident, gest. 5. Juni 1873 zu Frosinone. – Vgl. Morelli (1874). – Seine Gemahlin Marie R., Tochter des Irländers Thomas Wyse und der Lätitia Bonaparte (Tochter Lucian Bonapartes), geb. 25. April 1833, gest. 6. Febr. 1902 in Paris, schrieb zahlreiche Romane und polit. Schriften, ferner »R. et son temps« (2 Bde., 1881-87) und »Urbain R.« (1902).
